Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s message oriented mass action entertainer under media backdrop ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu’ has collected three crores twenty lakhs on the first day and two crores fifty lakhs on the second day in Nizam.
It seems, people of Telangana have no objection in watching this movie and enjoying it at the fullest.

Samantha is all set to romance powerstar Pawan Kalyan. Earlier there were rumours on both being paired. But now its confirmed that Pawan and Samantha will be working in this untitled film that will be directed by Trivikram.

Earlier Trivikram and Pawan have worked in Jalsa way back in 2008. If sources are to be believed it is said that this film will be a romantic entertainer with a dose of family, relations and values.

The film will start shoot in November.

DESPITE DISRUPTION, 'CAMERAMAN GANGA...' PROSPERS

Pawan Kalyan starrer Telugu political satire "Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu" garnered a whopping Rs.52 crore at the box office, which includes overseas collection, in its opening weekend, despite Telangana activists disrupting screenings in some parts of Andhra Pradesh.

The film released worldwide Oct 18 in more than 1,500 screens.

"The film collected approximately Rs.52 crore in its opening weekend. Due to political protest, the collections on second day (Oct 19) dropped drastically, but it picked up on third and fourth day," trade analyst Trinath told IANS.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film, reportedly made at a budget of Rs.25 crore, collected a Rs.13.5 crore on its opening day at the domestic box office.

In the US, it collected Rs.1.85 crore from the first two days of its screening.

"Power star movie does power packed business. 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' in US collects total of $345,357 (Rs.1.86 cr)," Taran Adarsh tweeted.

In the film, Pawan Kalyan plays a mechanic, who accidentally becomes a journalist and locks horns with Prakash Raj, a corrupt politician.

The film invited the wrath of Telangana activists following its release, especially from students of the Osmania University (OU) Joint Action Committee (JAC), activists of the Telugu Desam and the YSR Congress, over certain characters, dialogues and scenes.

"Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu", which was produced by D.V.V. Danayya, also starred Tamannah Bhatia, Brahmanandam, Ali and M.S. Narayana in the lead roles.

After the release of Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu, Power Star Pawan Kalyan has moved on and is currently listening new scripts for his next project. According reports, the Telugu actor has okayed a script written by Racha fame director Sampath Nandi. This movie is reportedly produced by Pawan's close friend Sharath Marar and Pawan is said to have a 50% stake in the this commercial entertainer.

Like Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu, this yet-to-be titled film will also be a political thriller, which focuses on corruption in the political system in the state. Reports suggest that Sampath Nandi has recently completed the scripting work and narrated it to Pawan Kalyan, who is reportedly impressed with the story line and has given his consent to star in the movie.

Pawan Kalyan is currently gearing up to work with director Trivikram Srinivas for his next movie, which is said to have been tentatively titled Hare Rama Hare Krishna. Once he will wrap up its filming, he is expected to take up the shooting for Sampath Nandi's next directorial venture, which will have Ramana Gogula's music.

Meanwhile, it is also rumoured that Sampath Nandi, who proved his mettle with Ram Charan's Racha, has created action script from him and is now planning to team up with him again. The director has reportedly narrated the story to Ram Charan and the film is likely to be titled Chota Mesthri. Reports suggest that Cherry and his father Chiranjeevi are yet to give the nod for this script.
